Electronics And Telecommunication

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a study of various principles and practical aspects related to the designing various telecommunications equipment. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers develop prototypes of integrated circuit components. B.Tech/BE trains students in dealing with the performance of telecommunication systems. BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a 4-year program. Some of the electives that reputed institutes offer under this course include Digital Logic Design, Semiconductor Devices, Network Theory, Signals, and Systems; Analog Circuits, Communication Systems, and Techniques Engineering Electromagnetics. Besides this one can opt for Principles of Digital Communication, Microwave Engineering or Digital Signal Processing. One can pursue M.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering after successful completion of BE/B.Tech.

Course curriculum:

Course curriculum of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering includes 4 years of graduation. students pursues degree of either BE (Bachelor of Engineering) or B-Tech.(Bachelor of Technology). During these 4 years students undergo in detail study of core subjects like,

  1.       .  Applied Chemistry
  2.        . Applied Mathematics
  3.      .   Applied Physics
  4. ·     .  Basic Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  5. ·        Basic Electronics Engineering
  6. ·        Computer Organization and System Software
  7. ·        Computer Programming
  8. ·        Digital Electronics
  9. ·        Electrical Networks
  10. ·        Electronic Instruments and Measurements

Career and Job Opportunities:

1. Medical: This field include design, development of medical instruments and their maintains.

2. Emended system: Embedded system plays vital role for industrial evolution through process automation, such system includes airbag system and GPS system used in automobile.

3. Communication:  From the cellphone call to data transfer between International space station to NASA control center everything included in communication.  defense complex system design and space research programs also needs telecommunication engineers.

4. Power stations: modern power stations such as solar electric power stations requires precise control over moment of panels, these power stations requires design and development of control system, which again sub part of electronic engineering.

5. Apart from this, PCB's used in electronic gadgets also designed by electronic engineer. Some of the major components used on PCB's such as Micro-controller, Microprocessor etc also designed by electronic engineers.

6. talking about research and development, students have opportunity to peruse their graduations degree like ME/M-tech/M.Sc in these branch. student can do further research and can achieve their Ph. D.

7. students have opportunity to prepare for exams like GRE, TOFEL,GATE,CAT,MAT etc.

8. Digital image processing, signal processing, optical communication, wireless communication, radio communication are there areas where student can have good chances of job opportunity if thy posses sound technical knowledge and skills.
