Famous brands and their full forms.


We are fully surrounded by brands. from mobile phones, computers, televisions to bikes, cars even clothes you are wearing and wallets you use. everything is brand nowadays. but did you know the name of the brand that you are familiar with might have another name hidden in it.?

So let's find it out.
BPL Group. 




British Physical Laboratories, doing business as BPL Ltd.



JBL:


JBLis an American audio electronics company founded in 1946 by James Bullough Lansing. Their primary products are loudspeakers and associated electronics.



JCB: 



JOSEPH CYRIL BAMFORD. J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited, universally known as JCB, is a British multinational corporation, with headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire, manufacturing equipment for construction, agriculture, waste handling, and demolition.



LG:



GoldStar was one of the LG groups with a brethren company, Lak-Hui (pronounced "Lucky") Chemical Industrial Corp. which is now LG Chem and LG Households.GoldStar merged with Lucky Chemical and LG Cable on February 28, 1995, changing the corporate name to Lucky-Goldstar,



BMW:



BMW is the acronym for Bayerische Motoren Werke AG or in English, Bavarian Motor Works. It's an independent German company and manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles. It's the world's largest premium car-maker and is the parent company of the BMW Mini, and Rolls-Royce car brands, and, formerly, Rover



KTM:


In 1934, an Austrian engineer Johann (Hans) Trunkenpolz set up a fitter's and car repair shop in Mattighofen. In 1937, he started selling DKW motorcycles, and Opel cars the following year. His shop was known as Kraftfahrzeug Trunkenpolz Mattighofen, but the name was unregistered



HMT:

Hindustan Machine Tools was incorporated in 1953 by the Government of India as a machine tool manufacturing company. Over the years, HMT diversified into watches, tractors, printing machinery, metal forming presses, die casting and plastic processing machinery, and CNC systems and bearings


GOOGLE:


Google actually doesn't have full form officially. The word originated from a misspelling of the word “googol” which means, a very huge number - the number 1 followed by one hundred 's. But I have read somewhere that GOOGLE is an acronym for Global Organization Of  Oriented Group Language Of Earth 


DELL:


It has no full form. Dell is named after its founder Michael Dell, but you can define DELL as an acronym by following the method below.

HP:


HP stands for Hewlett-Packard. It is an American multinational IT company that provides hardware and software-related products and services. It is  headquartered in Palo Alto, California, USA


HTC:
HTC is a Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones. High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC), there is a dame as well. Her name is Cher Mi Wang and she is the daughter of one of the richest people in Taiwan. In 1997, she entered in a partnership with HT Cho and Peter Chou and that's how HTC was found.


AOC:


AOC International. trading as AOC, formerly Admiral Overseas Corporation is a  multinational electronics company headquartered in  Taipei, Taiwan and a subsidiary of TPV Technology


GE:


General Electric Company (GE) is an American multinational conglomerate incorporated in New York and headquartered in Boston.


INTEL:


Intel was originally founded in Mountain View, California in 1968 by American engineers Robert Noyce and  Gordon Moore who wanted to name the company  “Moore Noyce”. Later they decided upon the name “Intel”, a shortened version of “Integrated Electronics”.


MI:


Xiaomi (Mi) is a smartphone company headquartered in Beijing, China. Mi is an acronym for Mobile Internet and also Mission Impossible (which refers to the struggles faced when the company was starting out).

ASUS:
ASUS is a multinational computer product manufacturer headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. Asus – named after Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology. The first three letters of the word were dropped to get a high position in alphabetical listings.
